Name Your Car Day

Mission 101 Goal 66: Celebrate five weird holidays (as listed on gone-ta-pott.com) 2/5

I decided that my car (green ford fiesta) is male. He's a sweet little car so he needs a sweet little name. It's a basic car, just to get me from a to b, so i didn't want to name him anything fancy.

I decided to name him Sam. I think it suits him.

'It is cruel, you know, that music should be so beautiful. It has the beauty of loneliness of pain: of strength and freedom. The beauty of disappointment and never-satisfied love. The cruel beauty of nature and everlasting beauty of monotony. '
Benjamin Britten

There are so many memories attached to these songs; good and bad. No matter what's been happening in my life these songs (and many others) have been there with me. Each one is beautiful. Music is everything to me. That's all i can say.

A Pair of Poems

What I Should Have Said

Sirens screaming through the fading light
This could be his last night
Crying, bleeding, in the gutter
Never got the chance to tell her
Everything he had to say
Now he'll never find a way
Three simple words he hould have said
'Please let me tell her before i'm dead'

Wake Up

She watches him sleep
The love of her life
He has to wake up
And make her his wife

She takes his hand
And starts to cry
Whispers 'I love you'
And 'Please don't die'
